From My Garden

Looking back, it seems almost surreal. I could never have imagined that there would come a day when I would confidently call myself a gardener. The journey from a materialist to a green-thumbed enthusiast was not an easy one, but every step of the way was worth it. Even the Almighty had a tough time convincing me, but here I am, embracing the earth and its bounty with open arms.

It's funny how life unfolds, isn't it? Who would have thought that words like 'Perlite', 'compost', 'harding', and 'thinning' would become an integral part of my everyday vocabulary? If you had told me a few years back that I would not only grasp the meaning of these terms but also apply them practically in my life, I would have dismissed it as wishful thinking. Yet, here we are.

But the journey didn't stop there. As I delved deeper into the fascinating world of gardening, I discovered that I had a knack for not just growing plants, but also teaching others to do the same. The joy of nurturing a seed into a fully grown plant is unparalleled, and being able to share that joy with others is simply gratifying. It's almost as if I found a new purpose, a new direction in life.

And all this transformation, this newfound love for gardening, this ability to grow food and teach others - I owe it all to the wonderful God we have. It was His divine plan that led me to this path, and I couldn't be more grateful. The journey has been incredible, and I am excited to see where it leads me in the future.

Gardening has taught me patience, resilience, and the art of nurturing. It has made me more aware of the environment and the role we play in preserving it. The satisfaction of growing your own food, of seeing the fruits of your labor, is indescribable. And the fact that I can now share this knowledge and experience with others is the cherry on top.

So here's to the wonderful world of gardening, to the lessons it teaches us, and to the joy it brings to our lives. May we all find our passion, just as I found mine in a handful of soil and a sprinkle of seeds. And may we always remember to thank the Almighty for His blessings and guidance. What a wonderful God we have, indeed.

And the Lord God planted a garden eastward toward Eden, and there he put the man he had formed.
— Genesis 2.8 (NLT)
but as for the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You are not to eat from it, nor are you to touch it, or you will die.
